For all of those that didn't hear. I wanted to do a charity for Maddoxs' first birthday last May. I found this school through Jaxsons therapist that has spent time at this school in Nigeria. The schools name is Open Doors a Special Education Centre, for kids like Jax. I had people bring therapy items to send to the kids instead of buying maddox gifts. This school has such great people working there for all the children but they are in great need of so many items. It is not easy for them to go down the street to a store and purchase equipment that these kids need to further their therapy and skills. The pictures above are of some of the kids doing their therapy with the toys that got sent. I wanted to thank all that donated items. They all have helped this school in more ways then you can imagine. I yet again wanted you all to find time and go to their web site. They still need many things, and if not you can see the hard work they have put into this school. It is a very simple web site, but you get to see what they do. I am in the process of trying to find a way to send bigger items. I will let everyone know when I find something out. If anyone would like to help this school in one way or another please let me know and I'll see what I can do. They have a couple of kids that need sponsors so they can attend this school. It is a small school but it still cost the people that run it to purchase items and fix things at the school. I trust Jaxsons Therapist that goes and helps at this school, she trusts the lady that runs this school and I hope you all can trust me that anything that is donated 100% of it goes to the school.
