The Haws Family

As I come in the house at a late hour and take my children in one by one. First my Jaxson wide a wake and has caught his second wind. I carry him to bed as he glances and looks at me with that look that all children give their mothers, "I'm not tired mom" As I kiss his cheek and kiss my sweet angel good night he slowly falls asleep. I go back to the car and look in, standing for a moment to watch my little Maddox asleep in his car seat. So soft, quiet, peaceful, a change from his everyday rough housing. I take his arms out and he is still fast asleep. He opens his eyes as I pick him up and he says "Thanks mama" and he lays his head down on my shoulder. My heart melts I don't want to let go of him right a way. I admit that I take my time and walk slowly to his room and lay him down. As I lay him down to change his clothes he says. "That was a good night mama" "Yes it was my son. "I love you" I tell him and in a sweet soft voice I hear him say "Have a beautiful night mama" I smile, such peace and joy fills my heart with his sweet one liner. I feel as though it is going to burst with the love I have for my family. What else is there in life then those two boys and my husband. How lucky I am to have all that we have. EACH OTHER. I love you my boy's thank you, thank you, thank you, for filling my heart with such love.
