This was Jaxson's back before his spine surgery.

This what his spine looked like before the surgery
and this is now. This was the most scariest thing Jaxson and our family has gone through. The doctors had classes that we took preparring us for his death, asking if anyone in the family is depressed or on anti depressants because this is such a tramatic surgery. I was a basket case for quite some time before his surgery. There is something between a mother and her children, a bond that if challenged the ground seems to fall from beneath your feet at all times. I know with all my heart that all the prayers, fasting and temple work that was done during that time made this the best thing we all have ever done. Jaxson went above and beyond what the doctors thought he would after surgery. He was out of the hospital weeks before they thought, he was out of surgery hours earlier then they thought and he went back to school, which they said that he would not. The spirit of this young man is the strongest I have ever felt. He keeps  the spirit so strong in our home and is a constant reminder what uncontional love and happieness is. He is doing amazing now and we are so glad for the doctors and this surgery because it truly has made his life full of oppurtunities.

My dad has a very close bond with Jaxson and he was having a very hard time letting Jaxson go through the doors to go for his surgery. My  wonderful husband let me and my dad go with Jaxson in the back so we could be with him while they give him his meds for the surgery and we got to hold him as he fell asleep. Best thing the hospital can do for the kids and the parents.
I had TJ go in first to prepare me, this was right when he came out of recovery. He was so swollen and it was hard to see him like this. He was on a breathing machine for a few days and that also was hard because I couldnt see his wonderful smile. But they kept him asleep for a few days to keep him comfortable

This was the first time he was able to get out of his bed and in a swing he loved it and was excited to get out and roll around
I am so amazed at how honest and sweet kids are. They go through so much and still he smiles. He is such a reminder to me to not complain and look at everything in life as a blessing and to smile every second you have.
Maddox finally was able to visit at the end and we took a wagon ride.
Maddox has been such a help with his brother he loves to wash his hair. They both get a kick out of it.
He is always excited to go to school, and loves riding the bus
Maddox lives in this horse costume he got from his auntie Summer. I went in one day and he said Jaxson is the cowboy momma
I really dont know a better job then being a mom. This kid has me laughing all day
This is when I was staying at my parents and in the middle of the night I feel this little guy glued to the side of me so I took out my phone in the dark and snapped this pic. Every time I put him back on his side he would end up right back beside me
As we were getting ready for my sisters baby blessing I saw these two getting each other dressed. I really love this picture.
My 2 furry girls. This is when we first got them and we only had one bed and they are both so stubburn that neither one would get out so they decided to share. They are such a great addition to our home. Bella the pointed ear one is young and full of love and excitement. Kate our bulldog, has got to be the cutest personality i have ever seen in a dog. She is like a big teddy bear and loves to be loved on. She is 4 and its great cause she keep Bella in line.
I love this time of year, October, November and December I love to have a themed dinner table
